Author: Zelda Tunes

Long time, no post!  As you can probably tell, this blog is pretty much dead. Graduate school and professional life have completely taken over, and I don’t use Tumblr anymore.

I wanted to make an official announcement that I will no longer be uploading anything to this account, but it still makes me somewhat sad to put it to rest. I ran this blog for about 7 years, meeting so many fellow Zelda fans online when I had no one to talk to about my love for the series and video games in general.  I still can’t believe how many people this blog attracted (40,000+!)–I hope you guys have enjoyed this blog’s content and hope you continue to do so for years to come.  I delete this blog so if you find your way back here, I hope you’ll find a great tune to enjoy 🙂

I moved to Arizona in August from the east coast with my puppy, Sabina, to pursue my dream of getting a PhD.  My first semester went great and I’m already drafting up my master’s thesis proposal.  It’s busy and a lot of work, but I’ve been really enjoying my new life here.

I loved loved loved Fire Emblem: Three Houses and the Link’s Awakening Remake.  I’m on my 5th playthrough of Three Houses, in which I’m attempting Maddening Mode, and hearing all the beautiful LA music almost made me cry nostalgia tears. I’m super stoked for BOTW 2 as well!

If you’d like to keep up with me, you can find me on Instagram at “ztcosplay”. I love to chat with people through there and will post reactions to gaming news/updates on my life through my story.

That’s all from me! I’ll check in periodically for any last messages people might want to leave over the next few days.  It’s been an honor, Zelda-Tunes 🙂

This little sweetie is one of the reasons I haven’t been able to be that active on this blog.  I recently adopted a rescue dog named Sabina, and while she is very active and energetic she is also an angel!

I’ve been really busy with her and life stuff, I just haven’t had much time to search for music to share with you guys.  I will update periodically, but I can’t promise that I’ll be doing it very much…adult life is a busy one!

Hey everyone!  I’ll be going to Katsucon again this year as Grandmaster Robin on Friday and Minerva from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on Saturday.  Minerva is my latest project and is still a work in progress (I’m painting everything right now), but she is very close to being finished and I should have her ready by next week 🙂

Let me know if you’re going and we can meet up 🙂
